Pay by Invoice, now also for Shopify Subscriptions
Give your customers even more flexibility to pay for subscription orders. With Pay by Invoice, customers can complete their checkout and choose to pay by invoice when they receive their order. For merchants, this means better support and increased revenue for markets where post-payment is the norm, such as Germany. You can put an invoice in the box, optionally with QR code. Or you let your customers pay online via a link in an email email. It’s up to you (and them!).
Alternatively, you can also add subscriptions via the Firmhouse Portal manually. This makes this subscription payment method perfectly suitable for “over the phone” and B2B sales.

Swap products between variants in the My Account portal
Your customers can now update their subscription products more quickly to their wants and needs. With the new product swapping feature they can choose a different option or variant for their current product, without having to remove one product, and add the new option fully.
Enable new features via the Admin Portal
We’ve added a new page in your menu: New Features. On this page, you can find new features we are working on or have just released and enable them for your store.

Easier Product catalog syncing between Shopify and Firmhouse
Syncing your products between Shopify and Firmhouse just got a whole lot easier. With Automatic Product Syncing, you can now instantly load your Shopify products into Firmhouse, without having to run synchronizations manually.
Just tag your products in Shopify with FIRMHOUSE_SUBSCRIPTION
or FIRMHOUSE_ONE_TIME
and they will automatically get added and updated in Firmhouse.
Note: This is the default for all new Shopify stores on Firmhouse. Existing merchants still have to use the regular Shopify Product sync. We’d like to migrate you to the new catalog syncing as soon as possible! Get in touch with our team if you want to skip the line!
How it works
Customers select Pay on Invoice on Shopify Checkout.
They enter their billing details and confirm their order.
You can ship the order right away and put invoice and payment instructions in the box.
The order will be marked as pending payment in Shopify until it’s paid via online link or you as merchant mark it as paid after receiving the customer’s money via bank transfer or other means.
Each subscription billing cycle, a new pending payment order is generated in Shopify.
Manage Subscriptions Shopify’s New Customer Account portal extension
You can now add a Your subscriptions section to the Orders page of the new-style Shopify Customer Account Portal. This gives your customers a quick overview of the subscriptions they have and their next order dates. A Manage your subscriptions button takes them straight into the Firmhouse Subscription My Account portal without having to log in again.
Just head over into the Shopify Theme customizer, Go to Checkout and customer accounts, find the Apps icon to the left, and add the Manage Firmhouse Subscription block to the Orders page.
