Prepaid plan on Shopify Checkout
Prepaid plan in Shopify Checkout enable customers to pay upfront for multiple future deliveries. The full prepaid amount is paid during the initial checkout, after which Firmhouse automatically schedules all future deliveries without requiting further payments.
It’s predictable and built for subscription models that benefit from commitment or upfront revenue.
How Prepaid plans work
Customers add a product on a prepaid plan to their cart, by using the Firmhouse subscription options theme block.
They pay the full prepaid amount upfront (for example 3, 6 or 12 months)
Firmhouse ensure that future delivers are automatically scheduled and created as Shopify orders the moment that they need to be fulfilled.
At the end of the prepaid period, the subscription either:
Stops, or
Renews for the next cycle (You choose this behavior in the plan settings)

Full support for iDEAL, Bancontact, and SEPA subscriptions
Prepaid plans also work for local payment methods like IDEAL, Bancontact, Trustly and SEPA. Need help configure this feature, please reach out to our team for documentation!

SEPA Bank Transfer now available as subscription payment method on Shopify Checkout
You can now add the Mollie SEPA Bank Transfer app to your Shopify Checkout to accept manual SEPA Bank transfer payments for subscriptions. This is especially useful in markets (like Germany) where a local iDeal or Bancontact payment method is not available.
View and apply discounts to native Shopify Subscriptions via your Firmhouse Portal
You can now easily see which discounts are applied on a native Shopify Subscription in the Firmhouse Portal. On top of that, you can now also apply discounts to native Shopify Subscriptions from the Firmhouse Portal.

“Default to Subscription” setting Subscription Options theme block
We’ve added a “Default to subscription” toggle in the settings of our Shopify Subscription Options theme block. This automatically selects the subscription option as default to add to the cart instead of the one time purchase option.
